SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If no separate contract has been drawn up or no other terms and conditions have been agreed upon, the accommodation provider applies these terms and conditions to individual accommodation bookings of individual persons.

By separate agreement, the accommodation provider has the right to use special terms and conditions that differ from these terms and conditions. Group bookings are always negotiated separately.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION

Bookings are made through our booking system or by email: reservation@enjoynature.fi. The booking is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a a booking number. You will always receive the booking number to your email. When registrating the booking, we collect the following information from the guest: name, address, email address, arrival and departure times and payment method. Bookings can only be made by a person over 18 years of age and underaged guests can only stay with a parent or guardian. The adult is always responsible for the underaged guest.

For security reasons, only employees and checked-in guests have access to the B&B’s rooms and other reserved areas. Separate bookings for meetings or other gatherings and their participants will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

In order to maintain order and ensure the safety of our guests, the EnjoyNature B&B’s exterior doors and lobby are equipped with recording camera surveillance.

ARRIVING AND LEAVING THE ACCOMMODATION

The booked and confirmed accommodation is available to the customer from 16.00 on the day of arrival. Check-out must take place by 12.00 noon on the day the booking expires, after which time the codes associated with the booking will no longer be valid.

CANCELLATION, NO-SHOW AND EARLY DEPARTURE

A booking which is made for a private stay for 1-2 nights can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before the check-in date shown on the booking confirmation. After this date, the full amount of the uncancelled booking will be charged. Bookings of 3 nights or more may be cancelled free of charge 15 days prior to the check-in date.

We reserve the right to apply special cancellation and refund policies for bookings made for the time of major events, bookings by companies or large groups. These policies will be communicated, negotiated and confirmed separately.

No refunds will be given for early departure.

In the event of sudden illness, the accommodation provider must be notified immediately and cancellations will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

PAYMENTS

All payments are to be made by credit/debit card unless agreed otherwise. Orders made during the stay (breakfast, extra cleaning, extra bed linen, etc.) will be charged from the registered credit card.

GUEST BEHAVIOUR

EnjoyNature B&B strives to provide all guests with the most enjoyable and safe guest experience possible. Guests are expected to observe good manners and behave appropriately on the B&B premises. Guests must not behave in a manner that causes annoyance to other B&B guests or local residents by damaging property or otherwise causing a nuisance.

Every guest has the right to a quiet accommodation. Between the hours 10.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m., guests should avoid loud conversations, playing music and other noises that may disturb other guests.

EnjoyNature B&B is not a safe environment specifically designed for children. Those staying with children must keep them under full control and supervision at all times and in all areas. Guests are fully responsible for the behavior of their children. Enjoy Nature B&B cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by children.

Our facilities are suitable for people with reduced mobility but are not without risk.

OTHER INFORMATION AND POINTS TO NOTE

Children are welcome. By prior arrangement we can provide a travel cot free of charge. Advance notice is required as not all double rooms are suitable for a travel cot. Guests must use their own bed linen and mattress protection for travel cots.

Pets

Dogs may be accommodated in rooms to be specified separately, with the exception of breeds identified as potentially aggressive. If you wish to bring a pet other than a dog, the possibility will be considered separately. Please contact the B&B reservation service.

We welcome two dogs for an extra charge of EUR 25 per night. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets must not be left unattended in the rooms and any pet equipment (e.g. sleeping pad and cat box) is the responsibility of the guest. There are areas for walking your pets around the property. Please pick up after your pet in the yards and on the paths.

If you need to leave your pet unattended for a short period of time, please use your own indoor carrier. Nervous pets can wreak havoc in an unfamiliar environment and cause costly damage to a room. If you know that your dog barks when left alone, do not leave it unattended for the comfort of other guests.

Always keep your pet on a leash, even inside the building. Your dog/cat may be well behaved, but an encounter with another guest’s pet could lead to dangerous situation and disturbance.

If your pet makes a mess in your room or in the public areas, you can clean it up yourself using the cleaning products provided by your host. Alternatively, you can ask the B&B staff to do it for you. Cleaning will always be charged separately.

Most of the accommodation at EnjoyNaturen B&B is accessible and guide dogs are always welcome free of charge.

Smoke-free accommodation

EnjoyNature is a non-smoking property. Smoking, including electronic cigarettes and the use of open fire (including candles, incense and similar products) in rooms and other areas is strictly prohibited and may also be the cause of an automatic fire alarm. Any person in breach of this prohibition will be liable for all costs associated with the alarm, repair and cleaning. A guest will be charged €800 if the fire alarm is activated due to the guest’s misuse.

Room cleaning

The room will be cleaned during the stay only if the booking is made for five (5) consecutive days or more. In this case a basic cleaning is made every fifth day. The change of bed linen is available on request at a cost of €8.00.

For the health and safety of our guests the “Big Kitchen” and all areas marked separately are for staff use only.

THE ACCOMMODATION PROVIDER’S LIABILITY FOR YOUR PROPERTY

You are responsible for your own luggage and should never leave it unattended in the public areas.

EnjoyNature B&B is not responsible for your property/valuables. Please ensure that the doors are locked when you leave the room or building.

EnjoyNature B&B will not be liable for any damage, loss or injury to the guest or any member of his party or to his vehicles or property unless it is clearly proven to be due to the negligence of the accommodation provider/employees.

The parking area is unattended. The accommodation provider shall not be liable for any damage to or loss of any vehicle or property in the parking area.

CUSTOMER LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE

The guest shall be liable for any damage (e.g. smoking in the room) caused by the guest or the guest’s guests or pets to the room or other EnjoyNature B&B premises, furniture or equipment, other EnjoyNature B&B guests or their property, whether intentionally or negligently.

Liability for damage is governed by the general principles of damage compensation.

SUSPENSION OF SERVICES

If the accommodation provider has reasonable grounds to suspect that the booking has connections to unlawful activities, will cause or is likely to cause damage, or if the customer fails to comply with the booking conditions, the accommodation provider may refuse or suspend the booking.

EnjoyNature B&B reserves the right to suspend, without refund, the accommodation of any guest whose behaviour violates the above conditions or interferes with the operation of EnjoyNature B&B. Guests who are asked to leave will be charged the full price of the booking plus the cost of any additional services used, the cost of any extra cleaning and any charges and compensation for damage or loss to the property of the accommodation provider caused by the guest.

YOUR OWN SAFETY

Always find out where emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers are located. Look for their location on the map on the door of your room. Read the emergency instructions in your B&B room.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

EnjoyNature B&B processes personal data relating to its guests’ bookings in accordance with the EnjoyNature B&B Privacy Policy.

ERRORS, HOW TO CORRECT THEM AND HOW TO RESOLVE DISAGREEMENTS

The customer must inform us immediately if the accommodation or other related services booked by him/her do not correspond to what was agreed upon in the booking. The customer is obliged to make the complaint as soon as he/she notices it and before leaving the accommodation unit. Once the stay has been terminated and the customer has left, no complaint can be made retroactively for an error that could have been corrected during the stay. The accommodation unit shall immediately correct the error or agree with the customer on a reduction of the price according to the size and significance of the error.

EnjoyNature B&B and the customer shall in the first instance negotiate and settle any disputes between them .

The Consumer Advisory Services of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority pro-vide information and guidance related to consumer law questions and disputes.

OVERWHELMING OBSTACLE

EnjoyNature B&B shall not be liable for any damage, delay or failure to fulfill contractual obligations caused by circumstances or obstacles beyond the control of EnjoyNature B&B, which EnjoyNature B&B could not reasonably have foreseen or taken into account at the time of the event, at the time of acceptance of the booking or thereafter, and the consequences of which it could not reasonably have prevented (force majeure). Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, fire, water damage, war, emergencies, natural

disasters, prohibitions or orders by public authorities which result in the partial or total unavailability or closure of EnjoyNature B&B.
