Kotalaavu, a cozy Campfire Shelter

Our atmospheric Kotalaavu, a traditional Finnish campfire shelter, is located just 300 meters from the hotel, at the edge of the lower field. It’s available to all our guests, all year round.

Enjoy grilling sausages or snacks over an open flame and sip classic campfire coffee (nokipannukahvi) in the peaceful outdoors.

The Kotalaavu is spacious enough even for larger groups, with several fire pits and log benches arranged around the area.

Need firewood or grilling gear? Just ask our staff – we’re happy to help make your moment by the fire truly memorable.
